Dear Frameworkers,

I'm emailing on behalf of Negativland Lab in Ridgewood, NY.

*We still have a few spots open in our EXPANDED CINEMA WORKSHOP* that I am
co-teaching with Simon Liu starting Saturday April 9th.

This workshop will meet *4 Saturday afternoons in April *and we will be
going through a ton of different 16mm and Super 8 darkroom and projection
techniques including: *Hand Processing Color and Black and White Film,
Photograms, Chemigrams, Tinting, Toning, bi-packed traveling mattes in the
Bolex, Forming Projection Loops, Bi-Packing Projection, Multi-speed
projections, and more. *These are small, very hands on sessions, a great
introduction or continuation to understanding and working creatively with
photochemical film. The workshop is $375 for the 4 sessions, a final
group performance, film, chemicals and access to all equipment at the lab.

For more info please go to: * www.negativlandlab.com/labs
<http://www.negativlandlab.com/labs>*

*The Workshop also includes 2 visiting Filmmakers! Alex Mackenzie
<http://alexmackenzie.ca/> *will be visiting our second session for a
creative dissection of the projector apparatus. Participants will examine
the various elements of projection: light, lens, focal plane, film gate,
speed, shutter, motor, bulb, and screen will all be explored with live
examples and an up-close and hands-on approach. *Bradley Eros
<http://handmadecinema.com/mobileview.php?id=16>* will visit our final
session for an expanded cinema performance and discussion and to act as
audience for the participants who will perform with the material they've
generated during the workshop.

Join us in April! We think it will be a pretty rewarding experience.

All the best,

Josh Lewis.
