I’m a little late on this topic but wanted to add to the list Joel Schlemowitz’s “Experimental Filmmaking and the Camera” that came out in 2019.
Definitely does not cover camera-less filmmaking but is a great resource for understanding the full possibilities of the camera from an experimental perspective - with great reference examples. Certainly Bolex-focused, but most of the material has implications for any camera. I wish I would have had this book 20 years ago. Josh
