I teach cameraless filmmaking for one week out of a 15-week semester in experimental filmmaking. For that class, I bring in materials including 16mm black film to scratch, transparent film, found footage, paint and markers and scratching tools, tinters and toners, sink unclogging acid and Q-tips, newspaper.... There are 40 students and the class is only three hours but they do manage to make a few seconds each and to see the result projected at the end of the class. - Pip Chodorov
