If you could get your hands on some sodium thiosulfate (250g) and a little
bit of sodium metabisulfite (25g) you could make a fix (add hot water up to
1L). If that's not possible I believe you can use a very strong salt
solution (something like 35% - someone correct me here) but you may need to
leave the film in the solution for 2-3 days as far as I know and I don't
usually have the patience for that. You would also likely get a more uneven
texture and or debris scratches on the surface to some degree.
