Big Mike's BBQ Pork Ribs
* 5 lbs pork ribs
* 2 cups shoyu soy sauce
* 2 cups ketchup
* 2 cups brown sugar
* 1/2 cup oyster sauce
* 6 garlic cloves, rough chopped
* 1/3 cup ginger, grated
* 3/4 cup guava jam or jelly2 tbsp Hawaiian salt or kosher salt
Cover slabs of ribs with water. Add salt to water. Par boil for 20 minutes.
Cool and cut into portions. Mix all other ingredients in large pan. Place about
2 cups of sauce in a basting bowl. Soak ribs with remaining sauce for 3-4 hrs.
Grill with mesquite wood until cooked through.
Notes: Baste ribs with sauce in basting bowl as needed. More sauce "mo ono"
Number of servings: 6-8 servings
