I work for a company called GETRONICS. They are a global it company. As part of my job, I travel all over North Texas (in my personal vehicle) fixing computers, printers, cash registers, etc. for companies like Target, Home Depot, Texas Department of Public Safety, Borders Books, etc.   While returning home to Sherman, TX today from Wichita Falls, TX I rear ended a parked (in the middle of the road) Texas Department of Transportation dump truck. He was sitting still and I was doing approximately 45 miles per hour when I hit him. He didn't even have a DOT bumper on the rear of the truck so my car went all the way under the truck and hit the trucks rear end. It destroyed my car and pretty much destroyed the right side of my face. I had to be taken by ambulance to the hospital for them to partially rebuild my face. I have numerous stitches in my lower lip and lower gums. I have to go see an Ear-Nose-Throat doctor on Wednesday to figure out how to fix the rest of my face. I broke my right cheek bone (just under my eye) in two places.   I live alone and have no family near by (closest is 120 miles away) and no one to help take care of me till I get back on my feet. I am writing this now, becuase tomorrow I will likely be too sore to even move. I have no money saved and no car to go back to work when I get to feeling better. I also can not go back to work without a car. I am in desperate need of a reliable (fairly fuel efficient) vehicle.   My dad who drove a wrecker for 40+ years came up and got me at the hospital and got my stuff out of my car and brought me home to my apartment. But him and his wife (my stepmom) are both 100% disabled and very sick themselves so they can't help in any way. He took one look at my car and told me he can't believe I am even alive, much less that I walked away with no help from the wreck.   While I did walk away, I am screwed up pretty bad. My shoulders are banged up bad, my chest is killing me, my right eye is swollen shut, my right leg is banged up pretty bad and I am generally hurting like HELL.   I hit the steering wheel so hard that it pushed it all the way through the dash. Then my seatbelt snapped and I went head first through the windshield of my car. I will be picking class out of my head for weeks.
