Is this possible?
I only have the directx that comes with visual c (version 3 or
something) and I get an error compiling the directsound module.
I don't have a high-speed net connection (or even the time on my
dialup account - only 20 hours per month) to grab the 100megs of
the directx 7 sdk, or even the 60 of the directx 6 one :)
Is that massive download really necessary? I mean, I'm sure the .h
files/libs are less than 100megs in size even unzipped, so what
else is actually in the download?
