Yeah, these two are the main things that cripple development of new plugins
and features (that are advanced or complex enough to need configuration):
1) No support for custom dialogs/preferences. Actually I think preferences
dialog really needs the tree-like selection box, like in winamp. The tab
control has too many pages already.
2) Inadequate support for custom component key. Like, for feature such as,
say, remembering the full playlist state on exit. (maybe even the position
in song :))
Well, there is something like support for that, but but I find it quite
kludgy! (Not saying that I fully understood how to use it :(( ) It needs a
cleaner API...
