cannot connect to host (2.1b7)

I installed Freeamp 2.1 beta 7 (Win32) for testing Vorbis and streaming
(2.1b6 didn't work for me). If I try to open an URL I get always the
error "Cannot connect to host: <hostname>". It doesn't matter if it's a
MP3, OGG or playlist. Is this a known bug?
