Yep. Due to numerous bugs/mistakes in microsofts implementation of the STL,
we switched to using the SGI STL for windows builds.
You can get a MSVC compatible copy here:

The min error is because of the NOMINMAX define, which tells the system to
use the template forms of min and max, which are defined in the SGI stl, not
the ms one.
