Hi,
I encontered one condition , and I am not sure if it is encoder's
problem or decoder's problem ?
would you please help me ?
I encode a 1k-sine wave,( sampling frequency is 44100hz, 16-bit ,
Stereo), using AudioActive 2.0,
with parameters: bitrate =32khz, sampling frequency=16000hz,resample. Then
I get a mp3 bitstream.
If I decode it using ISO decoder, decoding output is quite strange !! The
scale of R-channel is larger than
L-channel's (about 1.4 times)
But if I use freeamp V2.1, I get same L and R output ? which one is
correct ?
I attached the mp3 bitstream as following..Please, Please help me
and tell me what's wrong!
In detail, the bitstream is encoded with mode_ext='11',both
ms_stereo and i_stereo are on.
R-channel is not encoded, and scale_factor of R-channel is " 1". According
to 13818-3, R-channel
= L-Channel * (Factor >1 ).., Maybe it's why we can not get original stereo
?
Thanks again!
Please reply asap.
Sincerely yours
Chen
