I've looked at the source and found there is code, although not active, for integer decoding of layer I and II, but not Layer III. I'm very interested in the integer decoder for embedded systems which do not have floating point support. What I wanted to know was are there any reasons, besides time and work that there was no integer layer III decoder written? I just wanted to know if there were any reasons I should *NOT* try to code a int layer 3 decoder.
