smithi@x200:~ % sysctl -d hw.acpi.battery
hw.acpi.battery: battery status and info
hw.acpi.battery.life: percent capacity remaining
hw.acpi.battery.time: remaining time in minutes
hw.acpi.battery.state: current status flags
hw.acpi.battery.units: number of batteries
hw.acpi.battery.info_expire: time in seconds until info is refreshed

53 minutes remaining at 22% still works out to ~4 hours total, assuming
it shows 100% when fully charged, after having been fully discharged.

cheers, Ian
