This is very bad, and means that the EC driver has not been loaded/initialized.

Other things like keyboard, trackpoint, LCD brightness, keyboard illumination 
are working.
Not sure if relevant, but I noticed that WLAN LED (for replacement Atheros 
card) doesn't light under FreeBSD with coreboot/SeaBIOS.

I'm not sure what that means in the context of FreeBSD.

Can I somehow try to debug it? Or use ACPI dump from Linux or stock BIOS under 
FreeBSD?
Recompiling kernel and/or reflashing BIOS is not much of a problem :)
