Hello everyone, Starting novembre 1rst, we will be removing the "Sender" field which is automatically added to any mailing list, this should take a couple of days to happen. This is a legacy from the majordomo time which we carried over from mailman and now to mlmmj. This has been replaced in 2001 by RFC 2919 aka List-ID. All of our mailing lists have respected this for some time now. The most important reason for deprecating it, depending on how the initial mail was crafted, we can end up with mails carrying 2 Sender field which leads to them being marked as spam.
Please check that your filters have been migrated to using List-ID. RFC 2919 says a List-ID header is in the following form: "List-ID:" [phrase] "<" list-id ">" CRLF I know some of you have made filters on List-ID on the full " [phrase] "<" list-id ">" part This is a bad habit, please make sure that you only filter on "list-id" part as the phrase can change (fix typo, improve description etc), but the list-id part is guaranteed to remain the same.
