Just to give some feedback from a quick test: obexapp seems to be worth updating
I've been trying to use obex for some time now with my Palm Tungsten T3 PDA and two programs, Softick Blue Files and Bluetooth Commander. The first is kind of a bluetooth ftp server, the second a bluetooth and file browser. Using obex -c -f -a ... -C FTRN with the old obexapp, I could put files to my palm, but only get the first 1k or so bytes back. The server, obex -s -C 1, wasn't found at all by the palm browser. Both seem to be ok with version 1.4.5.
