Have installed Freebsd to USB stick from CD as full running system. Not loaded with fixit image.
Booting from install CD with USB stick plugged in, see USB stick light flashing while Freebsd is loading from CD. Select fixit from sysinstall main menu and then selecting USB file system option #3. Sysinstall replies with window saying no USB device. Return to sysinstall main menu select option/re-scan. Highlight re-scan and hit space bar. Screen flickers once.
