libutil.so.8 is missing when I run a binary from an installed packages I 
previously compiled with Freebsd 8.2.  It's easy enough to fix with a symbolic 
link but it should already exist.

Could this possibly have something to do with the fact that there is no 
COMPAT_FREEBSD_8 option in the kernel so it isn't creating the link?

On a fresh install trying to install a package compiled with freebsd 8.2 and 
then run the program.
