Invoking `freebsd-update upgrade` can fail with the very unspecific error
message `Fetching 2 metadata files... failed`. The user should be informed
about the reason for the failure (network failure, network timeout, remote file
not available, etc.)
# freebsd-update upgrade -r 9.3-RELEASE
