The version of libevent that's in contrib is a few releases out of date. It
gets built by/for ntp.
Either the version in contrib should be pulled in favor of the NTP-embedded
version, or we should update the library. I vote for the former since it
switches the support model from us (FreeBSD) to upstream (libevent).
