via irc, makefs doesn't support per-dataset compression today. An interim step
could be enabling compression flag on zroot (and therefore inherited) *after*
building the image. This at least ensures compression can be used by default
on deployed images, and is likely a lot simpler than writing pre-compressed
datasets.
