--- Comment #12 from Bren <[email protected]> --- Well I've been working on trying to get a crash dump all day. I finally broke the mirror and just used one half of it as swap. The system will freeze and trigger a watchdog reboot now within probably an hour of rsync'ing. This is all I see for logs: Aug 22 23:20:31 <kern.info> store01 syslogd: kernel boot file is /boot/kernel/kernel Aug 22 23:20:31 <kern.emerg> store01 kernel: watchdog pre-timeout, WD_SOFT_LOG Aug 22 23:20:31 <kern.crit> store01 kernel: watchdog pre-timeout, WD_SOFT_PRINTF Aug 22 23:20:31 <kern.crit> store01 kernel: panic: watchdog pre-timeout, WD_SOFT_PANIC set Aug 22 23:20:31 <kern.crit> store01 kernel: cpuid = 0 Aug 22 23:20:31 <kern.crit> store01 kernel: time = 1755919000 Aug 22 23:20:31 <kern.crit> store01 kernel: KDB: stack backtrace: Aug 22 23:20:31 <kern.crit> store01 kernel: ---<<BOOT>>--- I suspect that there simply isn't enough space for a dump. When I triggered it manually, it did complete successfully, but that was right after a reboot. Next up, I think I will try to get netdump working. If that doesn't work I think I will probably have to rebuild this box with more swap space. Not sure what else I can do at this point. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
