[email protected] changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[email protected] --- Comment #1 from [email protected] --- I don't know if this is the correct place to describe my problem(s). I have a Framework 16 AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS w/ Radeon 780M Graphics running FreeBSD 14.3-STABLE. I can’t get graphics (x11/corg) to work without getting a kernel panic and crash dump. The offending line in my /etc/rc.conf file is: #kld_list=“amdgpu” which is commented out so that I am able to bootup into a running system. I have two relevant ports installed: drm-61-kmod-6.1.128.1403505_6 and gpu-firmware-amd-kmod-aldebaran-20230625.1403505_2 The latter came from bsdinstall and I added the former from /usr/ports. Using wget(8) have these firmware modules installed: gpu-firmware-amd-kmod-dcn-3-1-4-20230625.1403506_2 gpu-firmware-amd-kmod-gc-11-0-1-20230625.1403506_2 gpu-firmware-amd-kmod-psp-13-0-4-20230625.1403506_2 gpu-firmware-amd-kmod-sdma-6-0-1-20230625.1403506_2 gpu-firmware-amd-kmod-vcn-4-0-2-20230625.1403506_2 I would like to run X11 and not be limited to running virtual terminals. Can anyone provide some suggestions as to what I am doing wrong? Thank you in advance. If this is not the right place for such discussions, where would a better place be? Have a great day! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
