            Bug ID: 289910
Summary: Installer TUI prompt for new root password is
                    confusing
           Product: Base System
           Version: 15.0-CURRENT
          Hardware: Any
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Some People
          Priority: ---
         Component: misc
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Installing 15.0-ALPHA4 in a Proxmox VM. The TUI prompt for the new root
password has two password fields. I spent entirely too much time on this screen
hitting tab and return and trying to make the non-moving mouse move. After
typing into the first password field, I fully expect tab or return to take me
to the 2nd password field, but it simply says the passwords do not match.

https://forums.freebsd.org/threads/first-quick-try-at-15-alpha.99135/ was my
clue that I had to hit the down arrow key to get there.

I swear I'm not an idiot [most of the time], so I think this is just a bit
non-obvious and could be improved by putting the 2nd password field into the
tab rotation or moving the cursor there when hitting return on the OK button if
the 2nd password field is empty or the 1st password field was just changed.
I've also installed FreeBSD many times in the past so I'm at a loss to know why
I've never hit this confusion before unless the installer changed recently.
