Bug ID: 291870
Summary: Unexpected confirmation from pkg-static bootstrap -f
-y
Product: Base System
Version: Unspecified
Hardware: Any
OS: Any
Status: New
Severity: Affects Only Me
Priority: ---
Component: bin
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
On a TrueNAS with latest version (which is unfortunately a bit old) I get this:
# freebsd-version -kru
13.3-RELEASE-p4
13.3-RELEASE-p4
13.3-RELEASE-p4
# pkg-static bootstrap -f -y
pkg(8) is already installed. Forcing reinstallation through pkg(7).

Newer FreeBSD version for package pkg:
To ignore this error set IGNORE_OSVERSION=yes
- package: 1305000
- running userland: 1303001
Ignore the mismatch and continue? [y/N]: y
package pkg is already installed, forced install
Extracting pkg-2.4.2: 100%
I can also reproduce on latest pkg-2.4.2 though.
Is it expected to block even with `-y`?
