* none of the diffs in this thing helped
* we're not actually doing the timebase loop because at the point that timebase
sync is setup, the timebase pointer == dummy timebase

So that explains why it's not working on my dual CPU PPC970FX G5 thing. I'll
talk with jhibbits@ more to try and figure out what else is going on.
