No cherry picking, no explicit hw.pac.enable=0 involved. The USB-A ports working (USB3.0 ports) and the USB-C ports not (USB3.2 ports that support some other modes too) is FreeBSD not being set up to handle how the USB-C ports are reported by the QualCom ACPI implementation. The status of that has not changed.
