It prints such messages in the system log:

This option retrieves the current setting of the Transparent Hugepages (THP)
disable flag for the calling thread or process.When a program invokes prctl(42,
0, 0, 0, 0), the system call returns one of two values:1: Transparent Hugepages
are explicitly disabled for the calling thread.0: Transparent Hugepages are
enabled (default behavior).
