In the DESCRIPTION section of pthread_mutex_consistent(3):
The pthread_mutex_consistent(), when called with the mutex argument,
which
points to the initialized robust mutex in an inconsistent state, marks
the
by mutex as consistent again.
"marks the by mutex" appears to be a typo. It has been present since the
original commit that introduced the page:

Suggested fix:
… marks the mutex as consistent again.
