The installation was successful, but it seems odd to not have a root user.
The root user is there, it's just somewhat "hidden". I personally hate having to type sudo for every command requiring root privileges, so I always just set the root password and then su into root: # sudo passwd root <enter new pass> # su - root -David -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]# fortune Happiness is just an illusion, filled with sadness and confusion. _______________________________________________ [email protected] mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-chat To unsubscribe, send any mail to "[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
