This is very odd:
doing a 'file cd9660_bmap.o' on laptop (NFS client) gives me a
cd9660_bmap.o: MS Windows COFF Unknown CPU
An MS Windows binary? Do you have any msdos mounts on
the client or server? How is /usr/obj mounted?
