Dimitry,

Your patch fixes the initial problem I saw with using gfortran
and openmpi.  Note, gfortran ignores -fno-builtins and I rarely
build C code with -static and -fno-builtins that uses isnan[f].

Unless someone objects, I think your patch is fine.
