I've been seeing an issue where sometimes my system seems to hang after the shutdown. where not stopping the watchdog might help. I wonder if it would be best to make some kind of rc.conf variable to allow the user to opt for one or the other, keeping the current behaviour for POLA. -- Allan Jude
