According to the FAQ section located on the web @

Q: What does 'MFC' mean?

A: MFC is an acronym for 'Merged From -CURRENT.' It's used in the CVS
logs to denote when a change was migrated from the CURRENT to the STABLE

A quick search for MFC right from the freebsd.org main page would have
returned this information.
