Hello,

uname -a used to show a string including the date and where the kernel was compiled:

FreeBSD 12.0-ALPHA5 #0 r338518: Fri Sep 7 02:13:14 UTC 2018 r...@releng3.nyi.freebsd.org:/usr/obj/usr/src/amd64.amd64/sys/GENERIC

It no longer does:

root@REDACTED:/etc# uname -a
FreeBSD REDACTED.REDACTED.org 12.0-ALPHA7 FreeBSD 12.0-ALPHA7 r338903 REDACTED amd64

How can I get the old behaviour back?

thanks,

J.
