This may not be the proper list, but it may get more traction here... ..... There may be at least some developers who get the list(s) in digest format. ..... Thus, rather than the ordering that is done now, they may be able to comprehend posts they can contribute toward a resolvation of, if the digest was via some software preprocessed:

And/or it requires a huge rewrite of someone else's mailman software???
