Hi,
Top posting: please knock off the abuse.
That is not welcome in this community.
If you have technical complaints, great,
but you're crossing multiple lines here.
Thanks,

TOP POSTING means quoting ENTIRE earlier message 'intact' and adding 'some'
content above it - sometimes quoting some parts of it - sometimes just adding a
thought or a comment above it - I assume this is the definition - this is NOT
what I did.
I just gathered quotes from multiple emails of one author in the same
topic/area and replied to them - w/o quoting them entirely below - so I DID NOT
did a TOP POSTING.
No, top posting is what I did.
Another thing that is not welcome in the FreeBSD community is breaking stuff
that used to work for YEARS w/o a real reason and just hoping that next commits
could fix the damage that already has been done.
Just because you don't agree with his reasoning, that does not make it any less
valid. That's still no excuse for the attacks.
The sound/audio changes are welcome and often needed - but CURRENT is the place
where all of these commits should happen and 'upgraded' to STABLE branch ONLY
after making sure that they do not break existing stuff (POLA) and adding
anything more then is actually available right now.
Can you point to which changes to a stable branch you're objecting to? I'm
looking to the changes to mixer(8) that were cherry-picked after stable/14
branched, and none of these seem particularly breaking and I probably would
have made the same decisions.
