anybody wanna explain me where did my 4g ram and 6g swap go in build?
i don't have full understanding of source to binary translation process which
is actually difficult task anyway. compilation, linking.
but resulting binaries on disk aren't multi gigabyte, so what could possibly
live in memory? just write it down!
i shudder at code which requires several hundred gigabytes of memory to build.
i heard those things exist. that's large for even 2026
for my entire life i have experienced that building is cpu intensive task. and
the only drawback on slow cpu was to simply wait. how come it now became a
memory intensive task
