I'd also like to point out that PowerPC will benefit greatly from this. PowerPC platforms vary wildly in how they do various things (incl. endianness in some cases) and so this provides a much cleaner mechanism to select a set of platform "quirks" than trying to do what i386/pc98 do. -- Benno Rice <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
