802.11g isn't a final standard yet either (note no WiFi logo on 11g stuff)
WiFi waffled. There probably won't be any kind of a WiFi logo on 11g equipment. Or 11a, for that matter. They're too beholden to corporate interests, and I don't think any interoperability tests of this sort will ever be conducted, or will ever be conductable.
I remain willing to be convinced that I am wrong, however.
Personally I'd wait a bit until the standard is finalised and the interoperability tests are done before buying any of it.
Take some wool underwear with you if you go downstairs. ;-)
