Hi, I see that there's work going on the installer. I would like to stress that in an urban environment with lots of WIFIs like in my case, the current portion on the SSID shown by the installer when first connecting to a network for installation is way to little. In my case, I have 6 neighbours using my provider and I basically see 6 times the same portion of the SSID. Getting the right one is a pain.
Just my .2 cents... /PA On Mon, 7 Jul 2025 at 16:08, Tom Jones <[email protected]> wrote: > > > > On Mon, Jul 7, 2025, at 15:03, Gleb Popov wrote: > > On Mon, Jul 7, 2025 at 4:43 PM Tom Jones <[email protected]> wrote: > >> > >> Hi, > >> > >> I'm pleased to share the monthly update from the > >> FreeBSD Foundation's Laptop Support and Usability Project. > >> https://github.com/FreeBSDFoundation/proj-laptop/blob/main/monthly-updates/2025-06.md > >> > >> We welcome your help in sharing the update wherever possible. > >> > >> Thanks, > >> > >> - Tom > >> > > > > I wanted to provide input on some items a month ago and asked Alice to > > give me rights to comment on GitHub issues, but never heard back.
