1. ASUS USB-BT500 - this is simple cheap bt dongle with Realtek chip inside. I used that for audio with virtual_oss until I found Jabra usb-audio-to-bluetooth that works flawlessly just shows up as /dev/dsp and avoids many issues with raw bt-audio stack (latency, range, glitches, sink/source codecs on different headsets). https://www.asus.com/networking-iot-servers/wireless-adapters/all-series/usb-bt500/ ugen1.20: <ASUS USB-BT500 ASUSTek Computer, Inc.> at usbus1, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=FULL (12Mbps) pwr=ON (500mA) bLength = 0x0012 bDescriptorType = 0x0001 bcdUSB = 0x0110 bDeviceClass = 0x00e0 <Wireless controller> bDeviceSubClass = 0x0001 bDeviceProtocol = 0x0001 bMaxPacketSize0 = 0x0040 idVendor = 0x0b05 idProduct = 0x190e bcdDevice = 0x0200 iManufacturer = 0x0001 <Realtek> iProduct = 0x0002 <ASUS USB-BT500> iSerialNumber = 0x0003 <XXX> bNumConfigurations = 0x0001 Also kind of bt+wifi usb dongles are very convenient for small embedded systems SBCs, priced below/around 10EUR, there are various OEM vendors most of them use Realtek chips. Not sure how this works on current FreeBSD I use them on Odroid emulation consoles (Linux based).. but looks similar to mentioned ASUS (except here is also WIFI). 1.
