The release notes do not get modified after the release. For a more up-to-date list of supported hardware, try here: https://www.freebsd.org/cgi/man.cgi?query=ciss&apropos=0&sektion=0&manpath=FreeBSD+11-current&arch=default&format=html I am not sure if the driver supports the H240ar, and P440ar or not. Note: the FreeBSD ciss driver is unrelated to the linux driver from sourceforge that you linked to. -- Allan Jude
