Good day, On https://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/ports-using.html , in a note under ‘4.5.3.1. Upgrading Ports Using Portmaster’, I found a link to http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/man.cgi?query=portmaster&sektion=8 , at which no manpage could be found. I believe this is because the default manpath includes only the base FreeBSD system and not ports, as https://www.freebsd.org/cgi/man.cgi?query=portmaster&sektion=8&manpath=FreeBSD+Ports+10.2-RELEASE and https://www.freebsd.org/cgi/man.cgi?query=portmaster&sektion=8&manpath=FreeBSD+10.2-RELEASE+and+Ports do display it. Is it difficult to adjust this without unnoticedly making the link point to an old version of the page once a new release comes out?
Thanks, Fedde Schaeffer, a long-time laptop Linux (Debianoid) user who was forced to try out Mac OS X at work and is now curious to try if proper FreeBSD might suit him _______________________________________________ [email protected] mailing list https://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-doc To unsubscribe, send any mail to "[email protected]"
