John Smith <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[email protected] --- Comment #2 from John Smith <[email protected]> --- Actually, things are a bit worse: man ntfs-3g points to a manual that probably was written for all distros, not for FreeBSD in particular. pkg-message mentions /usr/local/share/doc/ntfs-3g/README.FreeBSD file as a manual for FreeBSD - this file should be the one shown by 'man ntfs-3g', or at very least be included in it, because unlike 'man ntfs-3g' it mentions important details like that user must load 'fuse' module first to be able to mount ntfs-3g (or other fusefs). Please, fix the docs, they are a bit of a mess currently. Also, there is only a single example of a fstab entry, please, add more. Also, please, mention that there is no point in creating a symlink file if one mounts ntfs partitions only from fstab or from fstab mountpoints, as they have to have mountprog option anyways. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ [email protected] mailing list https://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-doc To unsubscribe, send any mail to "[email protected]"
