Dear colleague,
By now, you must have heard about the large-scale massacres and ethnic
cleansing committed by the State of Myanmar (Burma) against the Rohingya
people, with the tacit approval of the most famous person in the Burmese
government, Aung San Suu Kyi, who is ironically the proud recipient of the
Peace Nobel Prize !
Tragically, the only crime of these people is that they are Muslims, living
for centuries in a Buddhist majority country.
However, the world public opinion, conditioned and shaped by the insane and
cruel actions of a terrorist organization ISIS, is unable to feel the pain of
millions, who have no means of self-defence.
May I urge you to consider this colossal tragedy with empathy and raise
awareness among those who are apathetic about the crimes committed against
these people. It will be the most humane thing to do.
