Currently there is no chapter in handbook for creating freebsd images (e.g.
vm.raw). The release(7) somewhat covers the topic, but it doesn't provide
tutorial-like explanation such as required step before building vm-image and
where to find the output file. This can either be a chapter in the handbook or
a guide article.
