--- Comment #6 from [email protected] --- Technically, the 10-second timeout prevents a permanent hang, but it would still cause severe boot delays in most scenarios. Since pools often contain dozens of datasets, a 10-second timeout per dataset quickly accumulates into minutes of delay.
