I was following the instructions here:

And I got the following error:
VBoxManage internalcommands createrawvmdk -filename WindowsXP.vmdk
-rawdisk /dev/ad0 -partitions 1,5

in function int vmdkCreateRawImage(VMDKIMAGE*, VBOXHDDRAW*, uint64_t)
Error while creating the raw disk VMDK: VERR_ACCESS_DENIED
The raw disk vmdk file was not created
Any suggestions?
