Hello!

After upgrading to firefox-3.6 (from 3.5.8) I am no longer able to
connect to anything over SSL -- the spinner spins forever, but no
content is loaded.

Other browsers (Konqueror, Opera) work on the same machine
(7.2-stable/amd64), so it is not the network... Ever heard of this
before? Thanks,

Haven't heard from any users in gnome@ and I don't use Firefox. We
don't maintain gecko ports anymore, which gecko@ has taken over. You
might want to talk with them about it.
I noticed also, that thunderbird is not really working over SSL either
-- only the first IMAPS connection succeeds. The subsequent ones claim a
timeout, while the server logs a message stating, that a client
"disconnected without attempting authentication".

Using linux-firefox works from the same desktop, so it is not about
network setup :-(

Something is wrong with nss, I fear...

Default nss from ports tree or your own patch?

Cheers,
Mezz
